Also, yacht rock is kind of my thing too—give me some smooth tunes and a breezy outfit, and I’m basically one sailboat away from hosting a Holy Spirit yacht party.

When I first moved to LA from the South (where my lovely Southern belle besties would always tell me I wore way too much black), things shifted. I bet they’d be proud of that pink background above—don’t you?

I came to LA during what I lovingly call my "I don’t want to be Jonah" moment. (Bible friends, you know what I mean.) I’d just arrived when I got invited to a brunch. Naturally, I was wondering what to wear, so I called the only person I knew in LA—my friend Katherine, famous for her brutally honest advice.

I asked, “Katherine, what should I wear to brunch—pants or a dress?”
She immediately replied, “Lindsay, this is LA. I’m wearing sweatpants.”

Another friend told me, ‘It’s LA, Linds. People wear yoga pants or red carpet gowns—sometimes to the exact same event.’

And that’s kind of the charm of LA. It might not be the capital of fashion (we’re not Italy), but there’s a style energy here that’s fearless, expressive, and always evolving. Trends start here—and they travel.

So here we are: starting our own little brand of fashion-forward, faith-filled messages, right from the tiniest apartment you can imagine in one of the most beautiful cities in America.

I call it Tiny House Studios, and yes—we’re planning to make some funny, heartfelt shows right here in this cozy 250 square feet. Fun fact: the building I live in is where Pretty Woman was written (allegedly—thanks, landlord), and also where one of the big superhero movies was penned. So naturally, it’s the perfect birthplace for our faith-based romcoms and adorable cartoons!
